In June, I graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master of Public Policy and work in health philanthropy as a program associate at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, in Princeton, New Jersey.

Laura (Hand) Barnett and Alexander Barnett were married on April 21 with many Brandeis alumni present. Their wedding reception was held at the Community Rowing boathouse in Boston, which was fitting since they met as rowers on the Brandeis crew. They live in Baltimore, where Laura is director of strategic planning at Howard County General Hospital and Alex is a critical-care paramedic who is training to become a commercial pilot. Sarah Cohen graduated from Philadelphia’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College in May and started her pediatrics residency at Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children, in Delaware. Simona Dalin is engaged to Honi Sanders, PhD’15. Deena (Glucksman) Schaffer and Eli Schaffer welcomed a baby boy, Jude Truden, on June 22. Arielle Schwartz and Rick Alterbaum ’12 plan to marry on March 31. Arielle works at Aberdeen, a market intelligence company, doing data analysis and web analytics.
