Elliot Goldberg
Visiting Scholar

Elliot Goldberg earned a master's degree in Jewish education and rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary.  He was awarded a Wexner Graduate Fellowship and graduated from the Day School Leadership Training Institute. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Milken Community High School in Los Angeles, the Solomon Schechter Day School in Bergen County, New Jersey, the Chicagoland Jewish High School, and the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford.  He has spent more than 20 summers as a camper and staff member at Ramah camps in Israel and the United States, including Camp Ramah New England, upon whose board he now sits.  Most recently, he served as head of school at the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston.

At the Mandel Center, he will be working on the Students' Understanding of Rabbinics project and his own research about the teaching and leaning of rabbinics in Jewish day schools and other settings.
