Inquiry

Learning begins with inquiry. In all this work, oriented towards the particulars of teaching and learning in Jewish educational settings, we seek to transform teachers’ thinking, their professional settings, and the enterprise of Jewish education.
Explore the Center's areas of inquiry:
- Delve into some, or all, of our 28 working papers of the Initiative on Bridging Scholarship and Pedagogy in Jewish Studies, representing practitioner research of teachers at all levels
- Get to know all of the Center's current research projects.
- Read various publications by Center researchers.
In our 2008-09 Annual Report [download PDF], we encouraged you to engage with some of our work.
- Download Jane Kanarek’s paper, "The Pedagogy of Slowing Down: Teaching Talmud in a Summer Kollel."
- Hear from students who "Choose to Teach."
