Born in Sydney, Australia, Georgia Luikens is currently pursuing her PhD in Musicology at Brandeis University, where she held the Harry & Mildred Remis Fellowship for five years. In addition to her work as a teacher and a scholar, Georgia is an accomplished violinist, performing with ensembles such as the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra, Boston Unhinged Players, and Fine Society Ensemble.

GEORGIA: My name is Georgia Luikens and I'm a doctoral candidate in musicology at Brandeis University.
<br/><br/>

At Brandeis I TA’d once or twice and then was happily thrown into the deep end, writing and teaching my own courses.
