This past November, Brandeis University hosted a reaccreditation visiting team from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, chaired by President John Sexton of New York University. The team submitted a very positive and constructive report, which was reviewed by NEASC’s Commission on Institutions of Higher Education, chaired by Dr. Judith Gordon of Boston College. The Commission has reaffirmed Brandeis University’s accreditation and scheduled the next comprehensive decadal evaluation for Fall 2016. I urge you to read the Sexton team’s report, as well as Dr. Gordon’s letter, which summarizes the findings of the NEASC Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
Again, I want to take this opportunity to express my thanks and appreciation to the many members of our community, who participated in the reaccreditation process over the last two years. The outcome is a very positive reaffirmation of Brandeis’s many strengths.
Sincerely,
President Jehuda Reinharz
