The stars discuss their latest movie and the university's new film major
Actors Kate Beckinsale ("Serendipity," "Underworld") and Alan Alda ("M*A*S*H," "The West Wing") were on hand for the Boston premiere of "Nothing But the Truth" (Yari Film Group) on Dec. 3 at Brandeis University, made possible through a collaboration with Scott Feinberg, a Brandeis alumnus who now covers the Oscar race for the Los Angeles Times. Following the screening the stars mingled with students, answered their questions, signed autographs and posed for photos.
Film Studies Chair Alice Kelikian says there's much more film programming to come, following the announcement of a new film and visual media studies major. BrandeisNOW spoke to Kelikian about the program, as well as the visiting stars about their experience at Brandeis.
