Greg Petsko and Dagmar Ringe receive Merit Award from NIH

Professors Greg Petsko and Dagmar Ringe have received the prestigious Merit Award from the National Institutes of Health. The award provides up to 10 years continuous research funding and has been given in recognition of the outstanding track record of their joint work in structural enzymology.
Petsko has also been elected president of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, which has more than 12,000 members. His term runs from July 2008 through June 2010.
