Marta Kauffman '78 comes back to campus with her new film
Apr. 02, 2009
Marta Kauffman '78 was back at Brandeis recently for a screening of her new documentary "Blessed is the Match: The Life and Death of Hannah Senesh." The film, which tells the story of WWII resistance fighter and poet Hannah Senesh, is a major shift in subject matter for Kauffman, who is best known as the executive producer of the hit television program Friends, which she created with fellow Brandeis alum David Crane '79. The screening and subsequent Q&A, moderated by yet another Brandeis alum, LA Times blogger and film industry awards analyst Scott Feinberg, was the latest star-studded event sponsored by the Film Studies Program and the Edie and Lew Wasserman Fund.
