A look back, from move-in day to the New Student Forum
The sun doesn't set on New Student Orientation until the 25th annual Boston Harbor Cruise on Sunday night, but now that classes are in session, BrandeisNOW is taking a look back at some of the highlights so far, including the New Student BBQ, the Beauty, Balance, and Challenge of Diversity dialogue, the Philip and Helen Brecher New Student Book Forum featuring author Junot Diaz, and the Magic Carpet Ride event on the Great Lawn.
Orientation programs help new students discover the opportunities available to them at Brandeis. The Orientation Core Committee, a group of six students advised by the Department of Orientation and First-Year Programs, works throughout the spring and the summer to plan a comprehensive program that addresses the needs of new students, both academically and socially.
