Get into the holiday spirit Dec. 3 with Messiah Sing

The university's sing-along tradition includes performances by the Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra and Brandeis Chorus

Messiah SingThe beloved Brandeis tradition Messiah Sing returns to the Shapiro Campus Center atrium on Thursday, Dec. 3. All members of the Brandeis community, as well as family and friends, are welcome to celebrate the holiday season with the sing-along concert of Handel’s masterwork "Messiah." The one-hour concert will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Scores will be available for anyone who would like to join the Hallelujah Chorus. No singing experience is necessary. The community concert will feature members of the Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra conducted by Neal Hampton, and the Brandeis Chorus under the direction of James Olesen.

"The Messiah Sing has become a delightful holiday tradition at Brandeis," said Hampton. "It's wonderful to see the community united in the performance of great art."
