Meet the Author features 'Blindspot'

The 2008-09 academic year series of Meet the Author events wrapped up with “Blindspot,” a historical novel co-authored by Brandeis Professor of American History Jane Kamensky and Harvard’s Jill Lepore. The book, which weaves romance with a murder mystery, follows a portrait painter who is forced to flee his native Scotland in 1794. After arriving in Boston, he takes on a young apprentice whose looks are deceiving. In this Meet the Author, Kamensky and Lepore read from the book and talk about the collaborative writing process.
