Studio Fine Arts majors to open exhibition in Dreitzer Gallery Dec. 12

Final exams are fast approaching, but senior Studio Fine Arts majors have an additional responsibility to manage in the midst of all the studying. They will open their midyear exhibition from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 12, in the Dreitzer Gallery in Spingold Theater Center.

The exhibition of painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking will be on view through Jan. 28, 2013.

“I believe I speak for all of the senior studio students when I say we have worked incredibly hard thus far,” said Lenny Schnier ’13. “Each artist is expressing an individual journey that they have taken throughout their time at Brandeis. It is really a special experience to see the maturity of most of the work exhibited.”

Every year, the senior Studio Art majors put on exhibitions in the winter and the spring, usually on the last day of classes of each semester.
