Brandeis cancels morning and evening activities on Feb. 15

Due to the intensity of the snowfall and related safety and travel issues, Brandeis University has canceled all morning and evening activities today, Sunday, Feb. 15. All shuttles (campus, Waltham and Boston/Cambridge) are canceled. The MBTA has canceled all service (bus, subway and commuter rail).

Dining Services

As previously scheduled, dining services will be provided in the Sherman Dining Hall. Brunch will be served 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., and dinner will be served 5 - 7 p.m. today.

Men's and women's basketball games postponed

Today's men's and women's basketball games against Case Western Reserve have been postponed until tomorrow. The men's game is scheduled for 12 noon and the women's game is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16.

Please use extra care if you go outside today. In addition to the snowfall, the forecast calls for dangerously cold temperatures and strong winds. Be careful when transiting across campus, as even with the very best clearing efforts, the amount of snow and the low temperatures will result in icy patches on some walkways, even when treated.
