As part of the Brandeis University Wellness Program, Brandeis is happy to offer Weight Watchers on campus for all staff and faculty members. The 17-week Weight Watchers weight loss and weight management program is designed to help individuals achieve their weight management goals in a supportive, inspirational and confidential environment. The Brandeis program will also come with free online tools. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 and run through May 26, 2009. Meetings will last one hour. Following a confidential individual weigh-in, meetings will cover a variety of topics including: clarification of the program, tips for everyday eating habits, explanation of concepts and techniques, help in developing an exercise program that works for you, tips for eating out, and many more.
Meeting Dates: Each Tuesday from Jan. 27 through May 26, 2009
Meeting Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Meeting Location: Levine-Ross Room, Hassenfeld Conference Center
Cost: $186 for all 17 weeks ($10.95 per week) with a 3-way split payment option. The Brandeis program is an $85 overall savings over traditional Weight Watchers programs. Free online tools available to all Brandeis participants.
Registration: Just come to the first meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 11:30 a.m. and sign up to get started.
