Usdan Student Center contains two food courts with popular stations, as well as a kosher deli. Upper Usdan Food Court offers soups, salads, sandwiches, burritos, and sushi prepared fresh daily. Lower Usdan Resident Dining is a brand new all you care to eat facility and offers a wide variety of food options including vegan/vegetarian selections, international selections, pizza, salad, and much more!

Sherman Dining Hall is our all-you-care-to-eat facility in Hassenfeld Conference Center, where you can choose from kosher and non-kosher meal options.

The Stein, located above the Sherman Dining Hall, is a cozy pub offering a variety of appetizers and delicious entrees. Guests 21 or older may also enjoy beer and wine. To satisfy your late night hunger, The Stein offers a late night breakfast buffet.

For students on the go, Brandeis offers a convenience store (called Hoot Market), an Einstein Bros Bagels cafe, and several sandwich and coffee stands throughout campus, including Dunkin' Donuts and two Starbucks locations.

SPIRITUALITY/RELIGIOUS LIFE

Brandeis is home to people of various religious and spiritual backgrounds and there are many resources available for those interested.

The three chapels on campus — the Berlin Chapel (Jewish), the Bethlehem Chapel (Catholic), and the Harlan Chapel (Protestant) — serve as the focal point of spiritual and religious activity on campus. In addition, a Muslim prayer room and resource center is located in the Usdan Student Center.

Several clubs and organizations are also available to students seeking information or fellowship, including the Hillel Foundation, the Catholic Student Organization, the Brandeis Muslim Student Association, the Christian Fellowship and an interfaith group. The Office of the Chaplaincy also provides guidance and support.

For more information, contact the chaplaincy at 781-736-3570.
