Gianna Petrillo

Orientation CORE Committee

Hi everyone! My name is Gianna and I am currently a sophomore majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Hispanic Studies. I am from Boston, MA which is extremely fortunate since I have two siblings, two parents, and a dog at home all of whom I love dearly and miss when I am at school.

Two of my favorite things to do here on campus are working in the General Chemistry lab, where I am a Teaching Assistant, and being a member of the club gymnastics team. Flipping is definitely better with friends, and I love that there is a place for me to do that on campus. In the very near future I aspire to become a doctor and pursue my interests in anthropology by working in global health. Another one of my main goals in life is to learn more languages in addition to Spanish. I love cooking foods for my friends from different areas of the globe, especially from my country of origin: Italy.

Essentially, I love trying new things and another one I can check off of my list now is planning orientation! I can't wait to begin working with the other CORE members and get the Orientation process underway!
