Profile

Hi everyone! My name is Kaylee Wallace aka. Kdubs, Kwawa, and on the weekends, DJ Khay-led. I was raised in a charming seaside town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts which is exactly two hours away from the Brandeis campus (with a Dunkin’ Donuts stop of course!). I am always at the beach but will never say no if someone suggests getting ice cream from one of the seven ice cream shops within a mile from my house.

Here at Brandeis I am a sophomore double majoring in music and economics. You may be thinking “that’s an interesting combination!” since the two majors are not often seen together; however, what is great about Brandeis is that the university allows me to pursue multiple passions rather than just one. Aside from taking classes, I also tutor music theory with Brandeis Undergraduate Group Study and tutor math with General Tutoring, one of Waltham Group’s many community service organizations. Because Brandeis Students rarely have empty space in their schedules, I additionally volunteer as a campus tour guide and I sing in the Brandeis University Chamber Choir.  I love going out to dinner in Boston with friends, playing piano on the Steinway in Slosberg Music Hall, and catching the latest movies and shows on Netflix.

More importantly, I love that I have the opportunity to be part of the amazing team that plans Orientation and I’m already counting down the days until Orientation 2017 begins!
