Advisory Council members ensure all students enjoy a vibrant college experience

A select group of committed Brandeis parents representing different geographic regions and student class years comprise the Parents Advisory Council.

Membership is limited and invitations are extended by the university's Office of Development. Members demonstrate their commitment to Brandeis through their generous philanthropic leadership and participation in an annual meeting, which is held in conjuction with Fall Fest.

In addition to their own leadership giving to the Parents Fund, members:
  • Become Parent Ambassadors, welcoming other parents to the Brandeis family
  • Encourage other parents to support Brandeis
  • Attend the annual Presidential Briefing during Fall Fest
  • Represent Brandeis in their communities
  • Host or attend events with university leadership and faculty around the country
  • Receive special invitations to receptions and lectures
  • Have reserved seating at certain university events
  • Facilitate corporate or foundation giving
  • Make career connections for student internships and/or recruitment
  • Identify other parents in their region or profession who might also wish to support Brandeis and become engaged with the University

For more information, contact Parents Program Director Julie Smith-Bartoloni ’90, jsbart@brandeis.edu or (781) 736-4045.
