While the Waltham area is frequently characterized by hot, sunny summers and cold and icy winters, there can be extreme variability. Snowfall can be heavy during the winter months, particularly inland and away from the city center.

Brandeis parents and families are welcome to visit campus at any time, either for a scheduled multiday event, such as Fall Fest or for a quick, overnight drop-in.
