Brandeis University and Beyond

Web of appreciation

As a participant in a Brandeis Precollege Program, you’ll get to experience life on a college campus.

  • Enjoy living with other participants in an undergraduate college residence hall.  Rooms offer a typical college-style setup, with two to three roommates living in a room on a hall with a shared bathroom.
  • Join new friends for meals in the Brandeis cafeteria. Sherman Dining Hall offers kosher and non-kosher cafeteria-style food options at all meals.
  • Take advantage of full access to the university’s athletic facilitieslibrary, student center, and beautiful 235-acre campus.
  • Engage with the Brandeis tradition of social justice, academic and artistic achievement.

Interested in Brandeis for college?

If you are interested in pursuing studies at Brandeis University after you graduate, the Brandeis University admissions office will offer a special college informational session for Precollege Program participants. Admissions officers will also reserve a block of time during the summer for participants entering 12th grade to schedule college interviews.

Recognizing the high caliber of students who complete Brandeis Precollege programs (BIMA, Genesis, Service Corps, App Design, Impact Boston, 3D Game Design, Mock Trial Boot Camp, and Young Leaders Conference on Israel Studies), should you be admitted and enrolled as a first year student at Brandeis, you are guaranteed a one-time $3,000 scholarship. The scholarship will be applied to tuition during your first year at Brandeis. Admission and participation in Brandeis Precollege summer programs does not guarantee admission to Brandeis as a degree-seeking student.

The Ed Fein Scholarship is a need-based scholarship reserved for a select group of students from Arizona, California, and Nevada who have shown leadership through active participation in the Jewish community. Students do not need to apply separately for the scholarship; they should simply make known their contributions to the Jewish community as part of the extracurricular section of their Brandeis application. This scholarship is not restricted to Brandeis Precollege summer alumni.
