Financial Aid Opportunities

In the Brandeis tradition of offering academic access to all students, each year we provide a limited number of scholarships to outstanding applicants who otherwise might not be able to afford this exceptional opportunity.

Last summer more than 50 percent of our participants received scholarships or financial aid. There are various options and opportunities for helping make your summer at Brandeis affordable to you. Please contact us with questions about financial aid.

Need-Based Aid

All of our programs have need-based financial aid available to those who qualify. We use the same formulas as major universities to calculate eligibility. Aid decisions are made independently from admissions decisions.

Financial aid decisions are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage you to apply for financial aid as soon as possible. Need-based aid requires the submission of a recent (past two years) tax form and a brief information form.

The financial aid forms are available in our online system once you submit your application.

We cannot determine the amount of need-based financial aid until we have received a completed application and financial aid form.

Precollege Fundraising Guide

Earning and raising the money for tuition is a leadership development opportunity and the traits and characteristics for running a fundraising campaign are valuable life skills. Setting goals, identifying audiences, developing messages, creating and executing a plan and building relationships are all skills that will help you throughout your life. Many of the participants who attend our programs will invest their time to raise enough funds for tuition. Fundraising is all about being resourceful. Here is a fundraising guide (pdf) to help you earn and raise money for tuition.

BIMA and Genesis Scholarships

There are several scholarship opportunities for BIMA and Genesis, from various grants and foundations.

Please do not let financial concerns be an obstacle to applying for one of our programs. Contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
