We are seeking a talented and motivated photo/videographer to capture photos and short films for Precollege Programs during the summer. This is a full-time, residential residential position.
Teaching Assistants / Faculty Advisors
We are seeking teaching assistants and faculty advisors for App Design Boot Camp and Young Leaders Seminar on Israel Studies, respectively. For App Design Boot Camp, teaching assistants have a passion for technology and technology culture, where they will assist the course instructor during class sessions to equip participants with the knowledge and skills in using a variety of software platforms. For Young Leaders Seminar on Israel Studies, faculty advisors have an affinity for coaching and inspiring students to think critically by developing and facilitating seminars on topics related to Israeli society and culture.
Service Corps Group Educators are educator-activists with a passion for community service and learning. The Group Educator helps the teens integrate all of their various experiences into a deeper understanding of social action and community building. This position is ideal for experienced, dynamic service educators.
Community Educators (CEs) are hired to live with participants and design and implement a curriculum of experiential Jewish and arts-based learning. CEs also invest significantly in thinking about their own professional development and the craft of experiential Jewish education. For summer 2018, we are seeking community educators for:
Seeking an excellent science teacher for July 2018. The Genesis Science faculty member is hired to design and implement a curriculum of experiential biology / life sciences learning, based in the Brandeis biology labs, for a selective group of science-loving 10th-12th grade students from around the world. Pay is competitive, there is TA support, and the teens are fantastic. Priority hiring will go to those with experience working in the Brandeis labs and with teens.
We have a variety of one - three week programs that need residential advisors/staff to live and work with the teen participants. For summer 2018, we are seeking residential advisors/staff for:
- App Design Boot Camp
- The Concord Review at Brandeis
- Service Corps
- Young Leaders Seminar on Israel Studies
Residential Staff are college sophomores or older who have experience in a residential program setting. Residential Staff live in the dorms with the participants and take part in all activities and trips. Staff will also have the opportunity to create and implement educational and recreational programs for the teens. Residential staff can work one or several programs, spending between one - seven weeks on campus with Brandeis Precollege Programs.
Precollege Programs - Health Coordinator
The Health Coordinator is the point person for teen participants' health-related issues. The Health Coordinator will communicates internally with the participants and the staff, and externally with health care providers and parents. This is a full-time, residential position.
Precollege Programs - Administrative Assistant (Driver and Office)
The administrative assistant works with the Business Operations Manager and other office staff to assist with administrative duties relating to the day-to-day functions of Brandeis Precollege Programs. This is an hourly, non-residential position.
