During the Program, all delegates will reside on the Brandeis University campus in double-or triple-occupancy rooms in residence halls. Male and female students live in separate buildings or floors in the same quad and are not permitted to enter the other residence halls. We have made male, female, and gender inclusive buildings or floors in the same quad. Residence halls are monitored by adult Program staff 24 hours a day.

Delegates do not need to bring their own linens, as they are supplied by Brandeis. Linens provided include: towels, sheets, and blankets; pillows are also provided. Delegates should, however, pack their own toiletries. In the event that a delegate forgets a crucial item, Program staff will do their best to accommodate the student. Items most commonly forgotten include soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine products. Additionally, please note that, while each room contains a wardrobe, that wardrobe does NOT contain clothes hangers.

If participants wish to wash their clothes during the program, staff will provide detergent. There are coin-operated laundry facilities in each residence hall and it costs $1.50 (in quarters) per wash and dry.

If parents of participants need to mail something to their student during the program, they should address the letter or package to the Precollege Program address:

Precollege Programs will accommodate all religious observances during the week. Shabbat services are available and Kosher food can be requested. Shabbat keys will also be provided to access residence halls. Please contact Precollege Programs to discuss any necessary travel adjustments necessary to accommodate the observance of Shabbat.

Local transportation throughout the week is via private coach buses. Anytime participants travel into Boston, they are closely chaperoned by Program staff to ensure safety and comfort.
