Town Hall Meeting with Israeli Knesset Members
The Ruderman Fellows participated in an interactive conversation with Brandeis students on the latest developments in Israel and the Middle East on April 4, 2011.
Ilan Troen, director of the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies and the Karl, Harry and Helen Stoll Chair in Israel Studies at Brandeis, moderated the program.

2011 Fellows
Members of Knesset were selected to attend the program’s inaugural seminar on April 3 to 8, 2011, in Boston and New York. They included MK Carmel Shama and MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud), MK Eitan Cabel and MK Daniel Ben Simon (Labor), and MK Avi Dichter and MK Ronit Tirosh (Kadima). The MKs participating in the program represented three of the largest factions in the Knesset and the next generation of political leadership in Israel.

The program’s distinguished Israeli Advisory Committee included Minister of Environmental Protection Gilad Erdan (Likud), Minister of Welfare Isaac Herzog (Labor), and Former Minister of Internal Security Avi Dichter (Kadima).
