Professor Andrew Szent-Gyorgyi, who arranged for me to meet Dr. Ray Stephens, which put me on the path of doing hands-on research in cell biology, and in turn on the path to a Ph.D.

I am a member of the Board of Trustees and serve as chair of the Science Advisory Council and on various committees.
