Employment and Internships

Part-Time Jobs

Part-time work is available on campus, but it can be a little difficult to find. Some of these resources include places where on-campus jobs are listed, but it is very helpful to ask around and network since Brandeis is a fairly small community. Also, because the Boston area has so many college students, there are many opportunities for part-time and piece-meal work off campus, although these are usually for U.S. citizens. Many of these sources are specifically for college students or are widely used by them.

  • Brandeis Classifieds (Help Wanted section) Listings for jobs or paid research studies; may be on or off campus.

  • MonsterTrak (If off campus, password is 'offcampus') Brandeis campus and non-campus jobs: Work-Study; internships, full and part time.

  • College Helpers Search jobs by zip code: childcare, office work, and miscellaneous jobs.

  • Craigslist A widely used job (and other) search tool in the area; used by a lot of non-profits.

  • Idealist Good source for jobs in the non-profit/educational/arts sector.
