Mission
The mission of the coexistence outreach and collaborations programs is to generate theoretical and practical knowledge about coexistence through collaborations among practitioners, scholars, artists, policy-makers, community leaders, and students
Goals
- To define the distinctive contributions of the aesthetic domain to coexistence and reconciliation, and to advocate for and enhance the effectiveness of interventions incorporating the arts
- To establish Brandeis University as an international leader in research and learning on the contributions of cultural work and the arts to coexistence and reconciliation
- To generate and disseminate useful knowledge about coexistence theory, practice, and education
- To contribute to Brandeis University’s institutional capacity to promote coexistence on campus
