Mission

The mission of the coexistence outreach and collaborations programs is to generate theoretical and practical knowledge about coexistence through collaborations among practitioners, scholars, artists, policy-makers, community leaders, and students

Goals

To define the distinctive contributions of the aesthetic domain to coexistence and reconciliation, and to advocate for and enhance the effectiveness of interventions incorporating the arts
To establish Brandeis University as an international leader in research and learning on the contributions of cultural work and the arts to coexistence and reconciliation
To generate and disseminate useful knowledge about coexistence theory, practice, and education
To contribute to Brandeis University’s institutional capacity to promote coexistence on campus
