Undergraduate Departmental Representatives

Undergraduate departmental representatives serve as student representatives of the business program, organize events for undergraduate business students and provide feedback to faculty and staff.

They are also available to provide information to current undergraduate business students as well as prospective undergraduate business students.

Emily Chou
Emily Chou
Class of 2024

Emily is a senior majoring in Business, with a focus in Marketing & Business Development. She is also particularly interested in exploring the fields of UX/UI Design, Consulting, Business Operations, & People Operations. Emily enjoys hands-on learning and has been interning at companies since her freshman year, beginning with a Harvard startup as a Marketing Fellow & Social Media Manager. This past summer, she interned at CVS Health, a Fortune Top 5 company. She was part of the CA&I team, under the Enterprise Insights department, and loved learning more about how she can advocate for customers and help a brand build success. 

Outside of her internships, Emily is a Hiatt Advisor at the Hiatt Career Center, a Campus Ambassador at Forte Foundation, and a Business, Finance, and Math instructor at Juni Learning. Her favorite hobbies are hiking, taking walks, being in nature, exploring thrift stores & farmers markets, and relaxing with a good book - her favorite novels are She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb & Severance by Ling Ma.

Roee Maor
Roee Maor
Class of 2024

Roee is a senior majoring in Business at Brandeis. He is particularly interested in exploring the fields of Entrepreneurship, Communications, Marketing, and Customer Experience. Roee enjoys creating an experience for people to enjoy and has done this through his time working at birddogs in the Men's Apparel industry. He started as a Retail Sales Associate and worked as a Customer Experience Specialist in their marketing department. This past summer, he interned at birddogs in New York City in their Wholesale department while running his own business, Northern Valley Elite Soccer Academy, a private coaching company, based out of Bergen County, New Jersey. 

Outside of his internships and own business, Roee is a member and captain of the Men's Soccer team at Brandeis and holds several employment positions. 

Roee is passionate about sports, fashion - especially sneakers, and music. He is more than happy to connect about anything within academics, internship applications, resume reviews, or athletics on campus!

Kelly (Jiahui) Lei
Kelly Lei
Class of 2024

Kelly Lei is a senior from Shenzhen, China, majoring in business and minoring in economics. To find where her true interests lie, she has interned in many areas - securities, insurance, and consulting. As Kelly finally settled with accounting, she interned at the risk assurance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers this past summer. She is also the co-founder of VISUN Beverage Co., a startup in the business of selling high-end domestic & imported alcohol beverages in Hainan, China. On campus, Kelly has been involved as a deputy treasurer in the Student Union, fund track pitch leader for TAMID, and a member of the marketing team for DeisHacks.  Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling and shopping. Jon Standlee

Jon is a junior from Belmont, California majoring in Business and Economics. He has experience as a business development intern working on client acquisition, media publication, and general operations. This past summer, Jon worked as an investment Operations intern within Venture Debt responsible for financial due diligence models and evaluating prospective client's potential. On campus, he is the President of Afternoon Enrichment, a Captain of the Men's Club Rugby team, and a Product Manager for TAMID.

Jon is more than happy to meet with students to discuss course selection, all aspects of internship applications, strategies for academic success, and effective networking.
