Although not required for admission, the cultural production program encourages prospective graduate students to visit the campus to talk to faculty members and current graduate students. You may contact the program's academic administrator for information about visiting Brandeis.

Applications to the M.A. program are considered at any time, though we recommend submitting your application by Nov. 15, 2008, for admission in spring 2009, and March 15, 2009 for admission in fall 2009.  Please see detailed application requiements and application forms on  Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Site  . 

SUMMARY OF REQUIRED MATERIALS:

  •  Statement of Purpose
  • Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a faculty member)
  • Curriculum Vitae/Resume
  • Writting Samples/or Portfolio

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for applicants to the program

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences provides information concerning financial aid. The general requirements for admission to the Graduate School apply to candidates for admission to this area of study. Students in the M.A. program may not use transfer credits to fulfill residency or degree requirements.
