CP 202b: Internship in Cultural Production

Interning in a cultural institution (such as a museum, a heritage site or national park), the student participates in the development of a specific project of cultural production, such as an exhibition or public program. Students write a report on their experiences and give a presentation on their internship work at an annual workshop/conference. We anticipate the development of summer practicum or internship courses on museums and cultural production, to be held alternatively in South Africa, Mississippi and Scotland. Usually offered every semester. (Instructor: Auslander)
