New Wetland Ecology Course for Fall
!
Topics in Ecology,BIOL134
Considers the physical, chemical, and biological processes that make wetland ecosystems critically important to human welfare and biodiversity.  Focuses on New England wetlands, including their natural history, management, and conservation. Field trips are an integral part of the course. Weds, 9-11:50am.  See course listing for further detail. Limited to 25 students.

Charles River Cleanup
The 14th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup takes place Saturday, April 20th from 9am-12pm. Tentatively, our group will meet at the main entrance of Brandeis around 8:30am and walk together to our assigned clean up location in Waltham. -Wisdom Tree Installation: This will be an outdoor structure (location TBA) that will serve as the Earth Week "home base." Stop by at any point during the week to see this wonderful space created by Lisa Purdy '14.

The Federal Government is Hiring!

Do you want to learn about the federal government's "Pathways Program"  for current students and recent graduates? 
Dr. Noha Gaber, a top adminstrator at EPA in D.C. will host a "Lunch and Learn" on careers in public service. She will speak to students about the benefits of working for the federal government and share tips and advice on how to secure a job or internship in this sector, including tips on optimizing USAJobs. Special attention will be paid to the new Pathways Program for students and recent graduates. Dr. Gaber will also speak to students about working for the Environmental Protection Agency.  This program is open to all. Space is limited. RSVP today by following this direct link.
