Office of Study Abroad
The Office of Study Abroad can provide information about specific approved programs and the process of applying for study abroad.
Study Abroad Without an Internship
Students can satisfy the international experience requirement by spending at least one semester of study abroad in an academic program approved by the university without an internship.
Study Abroad With an Internship
Students may couple their study abroad experience with an internship, which may constitute one or more of their courses (in an approved program) or be performed either before or after the period of academic study abroad.
International students have completed the IGS international experience requirement by studying "abroad" at Brandeis University. You do not need to study abroad or complete an international internship to meet this requirement.
