My name is Abby Rosenblum and I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I am currently a senior, majoring in International and Global Studies and Economics, with a minor in Legal Studies. Apart from being a UDR, I am a senior interviewer and tour guide for the Office of Admissions, a TA for Macroeconomics, a tutor for General Tutoring, and the President of Brandeis Ice Skating Club. Over my time here at Brandeis, some of the Legal Studies classes I have taken include Introduction to Law with Professor Gaskins, and Investigating Justice and Law and Psychology, both with Professor Kabrhel. I am also currently working on my thesis on the International Criminal Court. This past summer, I did paralegal work at a personal injury law firm in Cleveland. Prior to that, I interned at Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan, and Aronoff, LLP, where I gained much insight into how a law firm is run. This past spring I had the amazing experience of studying abroad in The Hague with Brandeis. The program is incredible and I would love to talk to anyone interested in applying. I am really excited to be a UDR for the Legal Studies Department, and I am especially looking forward to working with all of you. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Heather Yoon '14

My name is Heather Yoon and I am a current senior, majoring in International & Global Studies, Politics, and Women & Gender Studies. I have also completed minors in Legal Studies and East Asian Studies. I recently came back from my study abroad in the Netherlands on the spring Brandeis in The Hague Program. For any of you considering study abroad options, I highly recommend The Hague Program. It is a once in a life time experience, and I guarantee you will bring back with you so much knowledge, stimulating experiences and exciting memories. As an aspiring international lawyer, I can confidently say that The Hague Program prepared me well personally and professionally for the real world.

Aside from my work with the UDR Program, I have also been involved with the Student Union as the Assistant Treasurer, The Ethics Center, Fall Fest Core Committee, and the Hiatt Career Center and Academic Service Advisory Committees.

During the past summers, I have interned for several non-profit organizations, including Gray Panthers and the National Consumers League. I have also worked with the City of Irvine Mayor, as well as interned for local and congressional campaigns. I enjoy sharing my experiences with anyone, so please feel free to contact me with any questions, especially about the legal studies program! I look forward to meeting and working with all of you this semester!
