From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) Eastbound: Take Exit 14 for I-95/Rt 128.  After the toll, keep left for 95/128 North.  While on the ramp, exit immediately onto exit 24 for Route 30.  Bear left onto Route 30.  Turn right at first traffic light onto River Road.  Follow this for 1.5 miles, where it turns into South Street.  Brandeis is 0.5 miles ahead on the left of South Street.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) Westbound: Take exit 15 for I-95/Rt 128 and Route 30.  After the toll proceed straight for Route 30.  Turn right at the end of the ramp, and then right again at first traffic light onto Route 30.  Turn left at next traffic light onto River Road.  Follow this for 1.5 miles, where it turns into South Street.  Brandeis is 0.5 miles ahead on the left of South Street.

From I-95/Route 128 Southbound: Take exit 24 for Route 30.  At end of ramp, proceed through traffic light (across Route 30).  This is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.

From I-95/Route 128 Northbound: Take exit 24 for Route 30.  Route 30 is one of several options on this exit, so follow signs carefully.  Turn left at the top of the ramp onto Route 30.  Turn right at the traffic lights.  This is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.

By MBTA Commuter Rail: Commuter train service (Fitchburg/South Acton line) is available from Boston's North Station (Green Line) and Porter Square (Red Line) to the Brandeis/Roberts Station which borders the campus.  Please check the MBTA commuter rail schedule for more information.

Directions to the Emotion Lab on Campus

Parking Permit: You will need a parking permit to park in campus parking lots.  Typically, we will send you a parking permit and instructions in the mail ahead of time.  If not, you can get a temporary parking pass at the Campus Information Booth right upon entering campus (or at the Stoneman Building during summer session).  Please hang the parking permit on the rear-view mirror of your car.

If you will be driving, please refer to the attached campus map. One of the representatives from our lab can meet you at the Main Entrance Information Booth if you need additional assistance. Otherwise, follow the below directions to find the lab.

Parking Directions:

1. Enter the Brandeis main entrance and proceed up the right side of the horseshoe towards Upper Campus.
2. Proceed on the Main Loop Road around campus, continuing to bear left.
3. You will pass the Usen Castle on you left hand side and the East Quad dormitories on your right. Stay on the Main Loop Road, bearing left.
4. After the Usen Castle, you will pass the Usdan Building on your left and the North Academic Quad on your right.
5. Continue on the Main Loop Road past the Heller School and the small parking area on your left and the Abraham Shapiro Building on your right. Follow the Loop until you pass 3 small Chapels on your left.
6. Immediately after the Chapels, you will see an asphalt road that runs perpendicular to the Main Loop Road. Turn LEFT onto the asphalt road and drive into the center of campus.
7. To get to the parking area, continue on the path until you pass a cluster of brick buildings on your right, which are the Rosenthal Dormitories, and bear right.
8. Head straight through campus. You will pass through a stone circle area. After the circle, bear left into a small lot (I- Lot) with spots on either side. This parking lot sits adjacent to the Feldberg Communications Center Building entrance.
9. Please park your vehicle in an open spot and hang the parking decal included in this packet on your rear view mirror. Someone will be at the entrance to greet you. If there are no spaces open, we can direct you to alternate parking spaces in front of the Gryzmish Building. If for any reason we miss you at this entrance, we have included walking directions to our lab below.

Lab directions:

1. Enter through the basement of the Feldberg Communications Center Building. Proceed down the hallway passing a small kitchenette on your right and through a set of double doors and down the ramp. Take a right at the corner. Continue towards the end of hallway. The elevator will be on your left next to the vending machine. Take the elevator to floor "3F".
2. We are located on the third floor. The door is labeled, "Emotion Lab, Room 133-316"
