Mailing Lists
Anyone using Glimpse should subscribe to the
glimpse-announce
mailing list so that they will receive notification of bug fixes and
other updates to Glimpse. This is a low traffic list. To
subscribe, send an email
to sympa<at>lists<dot>brandeis<dot>edu
containing one line in the body of the message:
subscribe glimpse-announce. You can unsubscribe at any time with the command
unsubscribe glimpse-announce.
glimpse-discuss is
(potentially) a higher traffic list for general discussion and
for asking and answering questions about Glimpse. To
subscribe, send an email
to sympa<at>lists<dot>brandeis<dot>edu
containing one
line in the body of the message:
subscribe glimpse-discuss. You can unsubscribe at any time with the command
unsubscribe glimpse-discuss.
Bug reports
If you notice any problems or bugs in Glimpse, please report them by
sending email to glimpse<at>brandeis<dot>edu. We greatly
appreciate bug reports, which help us to improve the program, but we
regret that we cannot respond to them individually. We also
welcome contributions of code, especially user-written plug-ins to
support additional image acquisition and microscope hardware.
Please use the same email address to report any problems with
this web site.

Users having problems with Glimpse can make use of the foolowing resources:
- Context-sensitive help for Glimpse menus and options. Press <CTRL>-H
to open the context-sensitive help window. Mouse over the icon in
the upper right corner of the menu for information about the menu.
Mouse over a control in the menu for information about that
control.
- Access the Glimpse help file (START>Programs>Gelles Lab Software>Glimpse Help).
- Read the FAQ.
- Search the archives of the glimpse-discuss mailing list here.
- Send a question to the mailing list subscribers at
glimpse-discuss<at>lists<dot>brandeis<dot>edu.
