Declaring a Psychology Major or Minor

Each psychology major is assigned a faculty advisor from whom general advice about courses or career plans is best attained. In addition, the psychology undergraduate advising head is available for consultation even before you declare psychology as a major.

1. Download a Declaration Form in the
   Office of Academic Services ; the form is available here:
2. As an aide to complete the
   Declaration Form, it will be helpful to use the checklist (pdf) to assure that all requirements are understood and listed.
3. Submit your completed form via email to our Undergraduate Advising Head, Professor Ellen Wright <ejwright@brandeis.edu> and cc our Undergraduate Academic Coordinator, Evelyn Caira <caira@brandeis.edu> .

Once Professor Wright approves your form, she will notify Evelyn Caira. Evelyn will process this transaction and assign you a psychology faculty member as your advisor.
