TERMS OF AGREEMENT
Brandeis Emergency Medical Corps provides Standby EMS crews for large campus events. At least two EMT-Basics, a full complement of medical equipment, including Basic Life Support medications, spinal immobilization equipment, and an Automated External Defibrillator, are provided.
The cost is $20 per hour per EMT on site, with a minimum of two EMTs. Additionally, you will charged for the 1/2 hour before the event for set up time and the 1/2 hour after your event for break-down time. Furthermore, if your event should run longer than expected, you will be charged $20 per hour per EMT for the extra time.
Once you submit this form, our Operations Officer will contact you within two (2) business days to inform you if your request has been accepted, and to request additional information if needed.
BEMCo requires at least 10 business days notice when scheduling standby services for an event. If scheduling an event with fewer than 10 business days notice, additional penalties may apply.
If your plans change, or the event is canceled without eight (8) hours notice prior to the event, the department/individual will be charged for the minimum three (3) hours.
