Special Topics
Topic: Embedded Programming.
This course examines the unique characteristics, concerns, and constraints of embedded systems programming. It provides a brief overview of the hardware and software building blocks and tools used to create an embedded system as well as specific constraints that the embedded SW engineer / programmer works within. The course discusses interprocess communications, resource utilization and overall design in the context of simple and complex embedded systems. Prerequisite: The student should have some experience with software development concepts, and the C or C++ programming languages. |
