Anth 159a

This work explores my reaction to the Kevin Sipp and Keith Washington Exhibit. I found it quite interesting the way in which Kevin Sipp’s installation was so overt in relation to the work of Keith Washington. In order to display this idea I have paired my audio commentaries with two slave dirges, Listen to the Lambs and My God Done Been Here in order to show that coded messages exist under melodic and seemingly simple things.
