Yamantaka // Sonic Titan and Son Lux at the Rose
|When:||Friday, April 11 7:00 - 10:00 pm|

WBRS, Brandeis University's student-run radio station, is bringing its final concert of the semester to the lawn of the Rose Art Museum.
Montreal-based Yamantaka // Sonic Titan function as a constantly evolving art performance group that negotiates cultural clashes between dominant cultures and those that are oppressed. The band is described as a psychedelic noh-wave opera group fusing noise, metal, pop and folk music.
Ryan Lott, who performs as Son Lux, writes intimate, personal songs that explode with epic production and interesting orchestration. Lott will perform at the Rose in support of his third and most recent album, Lanterns, released on Joyful Noise Recordings. Meditative and heaving with energy, the album weaves disparate elements into a singular vision of a world both strange and welcoming.
