Free Shuttle to the Rose Art Museum

Program April 27, 2019, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Three Saturdays this Spring!
April 13 | 12–4 PM
April 27 | 12–4 PM
May 11 | 12–4 PM

Calling all art lovers! This Spring, take a special free shuttle from Waltham center straight to the front door of the Rose Art Museum. Visit the critically acclaimed major retrospective Howardena Pindell: What Remains To Be Seen, and explore our permanent installations The Undisciplined Collector by Mark Dion, that evokes 1961, the year of the Rose Art Museum’s founding with all the trappings of an eclectic collector’s den, and Chris Burden’s Light of Reason, a large-scale site-specific sculpture composed of historic streetlamps located in front of the museum. Don’t miss this perfect opportunity to see Pindell’s powerful work which the Boston Globe called, "playful, knowing, sensual, elegant.”

The shuttle's pick up point is located at Waltham Common and will run on a loop from 12-4 PM. On April 13 and 27, accessible shuttles will leave from the Waltham MBTA Station on Carter Street. On May 11, due to the Watch City Steampunk Festival, accessible shuttles will leave from the Moody St. at Main St. bus stop outside Brothers Marketplace.
