Waltham Community Archives
The Waltham Community Archives is an experimental collaborative enterprise, provisionally hosted by the M.A. program in Cultural Production and the Committee on Community-Engaged Learning at Brandeis University. Our hope is that students and faculty at Brandeis, in partnership with community people in Waltham from all walks of life, will work together to document the rich cultural resources, traditions, stories and memories of Waltham. We hope in time to develop collaborative exhibitions, websites, publications, audio tours, videos and related materials that represent the diverse experiences and histories of our shared community. We are especially committed to documentation and representation in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Haitian Creole and Hindi. We seek to help build bridges of understanding and partnership between the many families and community networks of Waltham, and to help provide a "voice" for all who live, study or work in the city.
Please participate in our Waltham Communty Archives wiki space.
