Research Coordinator: Aging Brain Center
This Research Coordinator position is placed at the Aging Brain Center (ABC), a Harvard Medical School affiliate. The duties will be wide-ranging and cutting across multiple projects and initiatives of ABC. This position will directly support the Director of the Aging Brain Center on numerous projects, including grant preparation, manuscript development, active studies, and training initiatives. She/he will update and maintain bibliographies and websites, identify funding sources, assist with questionnaire development and training materials, assist with the development and maintenance of guidelines, manuals, and documentation, and provide grant and manuscript writing support. The Research Coordinator must be experienced in scientific writing and literature searches, and willing to gain experience/training in website management, academic grant writing, and all aspects of clinical epidemiological research. This position is excellent for an individual planning to apply for medical or graduate school. A two year commitment is required.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Prior research experience in healthcare or related industry is preferred but not required. Computer literacy, proactive and positive approach to work, and flexibility with regards to project demands required. Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
