Live-in Nanny Position for Summer

Mar. 31, 2014

We are looking for a live-in nanny for the summer (beginning of May-end of August). We have three small children: a three-year old boy and twin one-year old girls. My son will be going to preschool 3 days a week. The nanny will never have to take care of all three children at the same time. When my son is home, mom or someone else will be there as well. The primary responsibility of the nanny will be with our twin daughters, one year old this April.

Skills and Duties:

We will provide room and board and a stipend of $450/week for 40-45 hours of childcare, roughly Monday-Friday 8 or 9am-5pm (translates into $15/hour rate). The job includes feeding, diapering, putting the children down for naps, help with bathing, playing with them, arts and crafts, taking them out to the playground, etc.

We are looking for someone who is loving, caring, responsible, dependable, energetic and plays age/developmentally appropriate games with the kids. Previous experience with childcare is appreciated! Be comfortable handling twins/multiples.

Rough daily schedule of the girls:
7:30 am: breakfast followed by bottle
9 am: free play followed by a short morning nap
11 am: play outside, playground, or arts and crafts
noon: lunch
1pm-3 pm: afternoon nap
3 pm: small snack
4p-5pm: outdoor play
