ACLS Medical Training Scholarship Program
Feb. 12, 2015
Apply by December 2015 for your chance to win $1,000
If you are currently pursuing the pre-med track with a desire to apply to medical school, dental school, or other related field then this is the scholarship for you. Interested students are asked to write an essay between 500 and 1,000 words on one of two topics related to assisting someone in a life support situation. ACLS Medical Training is interested in hearing how you think about providing emergency medical care. You are entering a profession in which you may be called upon to provide basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, or pediatric advanced life support. Are you excited? Is this scary? How will you handle the situation when the time comes? If you have already performed lifesaving techniques, what was it like? Did you use the skills you were taught? There are no correct answers—they are looking for honest, compelling essays. Essays must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by December 31.
The winning essay will be posted on ACLSMedicalTraining.com along with the second and third best essays. These two runners-up will receive one complimentary pass to the ALCS Medical Training Certification program of their choice (BLS, ACLS, or PALS) valued at $275.
