Studentscholarships.org recently created the Black and Lee Scholarship which will award two students $500 each. Interested applicants are asked to write a 1000 word valedictorian essay/speech which conveys a "sending off" message to the members of the graduating class that also serves as inspiration to leave the comfort and security of their school ready embark on a new adventure. Applications may be found online and must be submitted by May 15.
