To promote the purchase of local, one of a kind pieces, CustomMade.com is offering two, $1,000 scholarships, one for Custom Furniture and one for Custom Jewelry, to be applied towards tuition or books. Interested applicants are asked to submit an essay describing the benefits a consumer receives by purchasing a high quality piece of custom furniture or describing the benefits a consumer receives by purchasing a high quality piece of custom jewelry. Essay should be a minimum of 1,000 words and must be submitted by December 15, 2012. Recipients will be notified in January 2013.
