The JVS Scholarship Fund provides qualified Jewish students with need-based financial aid in the belief that education represents the first step to career success.
Since its founding in 1972, the JVS Scholarship Fund has awarded over $5.5 million to nearly 3,718 students. JVS is committed to providing as much aid to qualified recipients as possible and to encourage students to reapply each year they are in school. Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000. The online scholarship application period for the 2014-15 academic school year is now open for Chicago residents. The online application for Los Angeles County will open on January 31, 2014. Submissions will be accepted through February 15 for Chicago area applicants and March 31, 2014 for applicants in Los Angeles County.
