Claricode, a medical software company founded by Brandeis alumnus Andrew Needleman, is offering first, second and third place awards to students who best answer the question "How will medical software improve the future?" All full-time students are eligible to apply regardless of major.

Foreclosure.com Scholarship Program

Deadline: Dec. 31, 2009

The Foreclosure.com Scholarship Program encourages students to offer innovative ideas and solutions to "solve the foreclosure crisis" in the form of an essay.

Essay submissions must be between 1,000 and 2,500 words and all accepted freshman and enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.

First place prize is $5,000 and second through fifth place will be awarded $1,000 each. Checks will be made out to the college or university attended in the form of a nonrenewable scholarship grant. The best five plans will be sent to Congress and to President Barack Obama.

Jewish Children's Regional Service College Scholarship

Jewish Children's Regional Service is a social work agency and charitable fund providing scholarships for Jewish summer camp programs; grants and no-interest loans for college; Jewish family counseling and referral and tuition assistance and other aid for Jewish children with physical, emotional and/or learning disabilities.

The organizations serves Jewish children and young adults living in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.
