Cost of Attendance

Please Note

For all undergraduate students in the Class of 2011 and beyond, the $500 University Deposit will not be deducted from the first semester's charges. Instead, the University Deposit will be held in reserve for possible punitive charges posted to a student's account (i.e, unpaid parking fines, unpaid library fines, residence hall damage, returned check fees, etc.) For more information about the University Deposit, please see Student Accounts.

Brandeis estimates $2,500 per academic year for a student's books and personal expenses. Travel expenses are determined based on two round-trip airfares for the state in which the student resides. No travel expenses are included in the cost of attendance for students who live within driving distance of the campus. Expenses for books, personal and travel should be considered in determining the full cost of attendance for the student.
